Bachelor of Arts in English from Eastern Connecticut State University;graduated in May of 2009. Currently working on Masters in Reading/Language Arts at Eastern Connecticut State University. As a Masters student, I maintain a 3.8 GPA and have maintained the same GPA while earning my Bachelor degree, as well.
Experience
I am a certified English teacher; I received my certification in July of 2009 and I am certified to teach Grade 7-12 English by the State of Connecticut. Research writing on a variety of literature and literary topics is my passion. I was invited to present a paper I wrote on Beowulf at a Renaissance Literature Convention in 2009. I have previously assisted a professor in tutoring fellow classmates and aided a high school student in writng her college entrance essay.
